Recommend for Mercy
"Does no one have any pity?"
‘Recommend for Mercy’ is a 55 minute show inspired by the true life events of two Alberta women who were sentenced to death by hanging. Set in the Fort Saskatchewan Prison in 1934, death row inmates Dina Dranchuk and Florence Lassandro await the gallows and recount their crimes while searching for the meaning of mercy.
This show examines the themes of isolation, family, sacrifice, and justice. Audiences will leave this show with an appreciation of empowering women to use their voices, and a new perspective on creating space for allowing people to tell their personal stories
Falling to Pizzas
Falling to Pizza's was a originally produced as one minute silent film for "Got a Minute film festival". This short film is a comedy on who gets the last slice of pizza at a party and who will be the most polite. From beginning to end, the audience will laugh at the nuances of the physical comedy and downright silliness of our party goers. From our polite guests to the shenanigans happening around them.
Currently going back into the editing room to be produced a second time as a short film so we can now go on this journey to hear their comedy prowess while one convinces the other to have the last slice of pizza... or grab the drink first?.
